7 am...a typical morning....everyone has their beverage of choice. Milk for the girls, coffee for Daddy and water for Mommy. Too early for Pepsi :)
Daddy cuddles Amelia at night. Sure doesn't look like she's ready for bed yet! We wish.
Daddy and the bug in the morning. This is Lily's favourite seat when she wakes up.
Lily is very attached to her sunglasses and sometimes likes to wear them in the house. Upside down. We think she's making a statement of some kind.
One would think that wearing sunglasses would make it difficult to see one's food. But Lily seems to be doing juuust fine with her yogurt.
After Daddy's lap and Mommy's chest, this is another one of Lily's favourite seats in the house.
"What was that? Meelie hears a noise that gets her attention.
Amelia is a very easy-going little baby.
They (whomever "they" are?!?) say that babies at 4 weeks old are too young to smile, and that if they do, it is probably just caused by gas. We think "they" are crazy. Tell me this isn't a happy smile???!!!
Of course it is!!
Mommy and Amelia fall asleep on the couch together early one morning and Daddy catches them in the act.
Amelia falls asleep on Daddy one evening.
For now, she is the only one in the family who will tolerate the t.v. show "Futurama". Daddy is hoping it stays that way so at least he'll have one person to watch it with him.
Lily sees Mommy trying to sleep on the couch one morning, and snuggles in beside her. What a wonderful way to start the day!
Amelia is very satisfied after having drunk 6 oz of milk in one feeding. She is a good eater!! At this rate she will be 100 lbs by the time she is 2.
Lily is fascinated by Amelia's hair...
...and her feet...
...and her tummy...
...and her hands. She loves all parts of her baby sister.
Tummy time for Amelia! Time to get some exercise and to keep her head from getting flat :)
Mommy & Amelia - sitting time instead of tummy time - even at this young age, Amelia is very interested in seeing her surroundings.
"Oh hi, Daddy! I'm getting more used to this camera thing. I've seen alot of it in the past few weeks!"
Amelia dreaming - it's anybody's guess what the dream is about, but Meelie seems to be thinking through something...that little brain is always workin'.
