July 8, 2012 - We arrive early in the morning at Baba & Grampa Hunter's house for a party!! Lily is the first out of the car and makes her way to the house.
Mommy and Amelia are next out of the car. "Hi everybody!"
Lily quickly finds the baby dolly in the swing in the living room.
She lays her down on a pillow and gives her a bottle...exactly how Mommy feeds Amelia. Lily is a very observant little person, apparently.
Lunchtime with Great Gido and Great Baba.
Great Baba encourages Lily to "finger-paint" with her ketchup and mustard.
She almost looks like she's playing, doesn't she??
Lily dances with the big giant fish.
Mommy tries feeding Amelia some prunes...
But she is much more interested in the strawberries on her tray and tries to pick them up with her fingers...
...but gets frustrated and decides to just suck them up directly with her mouth instead.
"Hi Grampa, I see you!! Can I come out there?"
Mommy, Lily and Amelia pose in the garden with Great Gido and Great Baba.
And then Baba & Grampa Hunter join in.
Just the girls with Great Baba this time.
And then the girls with Great Gido!
"Hi Great Uncle Greg and Great Auntie Pattie!"
Grampa helps Lily choose her favourite lily flower.
She can't decide so she takes two. Lucky girl!!
Amelia finds a comfy seat to sit in.
The fish is a multi-purpose creature....here it serves as a pillow for Amelia to lay on while Mommy gives her her milk.
Lily is very busy, she has lots of things to do...
...like draw pictures on the driveway with chalk!
Meanwhile, Amelia goes to check out the electric fence with Grampa. Great fun!
Lily holds up one of the several outfits Sonya and Bill bought for Amelia. Lily is already wearing the blue dress they gave her!
Amelia spends some time with Great Uncle Dwayne.
Then moves on to Great Baba.
And back to Great Uncle Dwayne. "There are lots of people here who love me!"
Dinnertime!
Costume change! Amelia puts on one of her new outfits.
Lily helps water the plants because she tells Grampa they "look thirsty."
"Can I come outside, too?"
Lily plays with her pinwheel.
One for each hand.
Woo-hoo!!
Cousin Michelle "flies" Amelia in for a visit with Great Baba & Great Gido.
"Thanks for taking me for a walk, Grampa."
Lily loves her bubbles.
Blowing them AND smushing them!!
Dancing with Baba this time. It's more fun with a partner!
"Stomp your feet, Baba..."
"...and wave your arms!!"
Time to go....Amelia gets buckled in.
"Bye everybody, thank you for a lovely day! We look forward to the next party."
