Back to Kelowna! (Week 31)

On our way to Kelowna, we stop for a little break so Lily can have a snack. And have a chance to be silly! Which, as we know, she is very, very good at. Silly, after all, does rhyme with Lily.

Nana plays "buzz buzz bee" with Lily.

Time for baby yoga! Leg circles are first on the agenda.

It's important to exercise your arms, too.

And then...wait for it...arms and legs at the same time!

Lily tries out some of her own moves.

Talking to Baba and Grampa Hunter on Skype.

Good morning, Sleepyhead!

Lily visits with Grampa Couper.

A little good morning yawn.
"Why am I suddenly in the air??"

"Seriously. Why??"

"OK it looks like I might be up here for awhile..."

"I'm actually starting to enjoy it!"

"Hi Nana! Want to see one of my funny faces?"

"My funny faces go along with my funny hair."

"It's buzz buzz bee again...yay!!"

"He's getting closer..."

"Then flies away."

"Then gets closer again..."

"Hey...that kind of tickles!"

"I'll show Mr. Bee my tongue, too. Maybe he'll like it as much as everybody else seems to!"

"Look! Sideways tongue!"

"Hi Grampa! How are you?"

"I am fine."

"I like your face, Nana."

"Especially your mouth! It's the place where kisses come from."

"Go Canucks, go!"

"He shoots....but doesn't score :("

Bathtime! In the big girl bathtub!

"Woo hoo! Let's go!"

"Oh hi, daddy!"

"Look what I can do! Sticking my tongue out helps me swim. Really."

Somebody got some sun!

Breakfast time.
Lily hard at *work* in her exercauser. So many things to do, so little time!

Lily shows Nana her favourite Winnie the Pooh book.

"Oh, hello!"

"Is there anything on sale that I would like, Grampa?"

"Yummmm...prunes!"

"I think Grampa needs a little more practice feeding me."

"I'm a little sad 'cause we have to go home today."
Getting ready to load Lily and her 4,000 toys into the truck to go back to Vancouver.
Milk break!!!

Back at home, mommy tells daddy she has a *situation* (note the fistful of hair Lily has) and needs some help...instead of coming to help, daddy runs and gets the camera :) Thanks daddy!

Lily Loves to Laugh! (Week 29 & 30)

Easter Sunday - Lily hunts for Easter eggs...and finds something else to chew on instead.

Lily and her Easter "Peep".
"I like this exercauser Auntie Jody loaned me..."

"I can stand up and play with all the little gadgets..."

"And mommy and daddy know I can't escape!"

"Good morning mommy and daddy!"

"I like my feet!"

"But I loves my daddy more."

"And I like going for a walk on the seawall too."

"The best part is all the water fountains."

"No, the best part is hugging mommy and daddy while looking at the water fountains."

"I would love to jump INTO the water fountains, but daddy holds me back. Sometimes daddys know best."

It's been a tough morning...hunting for eggs, looking at waterfalls...Lily needs her rest.

The little green alligator poses with her booties on.

"Hi mommy!"

"I can act a little crazy sometimes."

"But mostly I am just pretty darned cute."

Lily likes to stick out her tongue sideways. It is one of her many talents.

Lily is also very good at making her own fun :)

Hanging out at Home (Week 26 to 28)

Lily the Pooh. She has just arrived home from an outing to Winners. It is never too early for a girl to learn how to buy shoes.

Lily's first taste of solid food (rice cereal - yaaay!). She figures out the whole process pretty quickly and starts to kick her feet with excitement.

She also hums while she eats. Just like mommy when she tastes something she likes!

She asks for a second helping, so daddy obliges.

"Ahhh...it's nice to have a full tummy! Why have they been withholding that yummy cereal for so long?"

Lily thinks her mobile is pretty neat-o-keen. But she is sure to keep her Whoozit toy close...

Lily says goodbye to daddy, who visited Toronto for a few days.

Playing in her crib...she is excited by the number of toys.

A happy little goober.

We move into the bedroom to play on the bed for awhile.

"Hi daddy! Come closer..."

"Closer..."

"Closer..."

"I just wanted to say.....Hi!"

Extreme close-up.

Daddy and Lily put their heads together. Wonder what they are scheming....

Lily discovers her toes. She spends hours every day holding them.

Nose kisses!!

Exercise time!!! The 2026 Olympics are just around the corner....

Lily loves her bedtime stories...especially when daddy reads them. Winnie the Pooh is her favourite right now.

Best buddies.

One of daddy's infamous self-portraits. Lily's already got the hang of it!!
